From the end of the 60s and into the 80s - usually embroidered – often muslin – mostly white. People sat around in them, married in them, wore them to work, went to the beach.

There were wonderful quality Indian cottons - - so comfortable and practical for the Australian summer.

High street copied the cheap  Indian and South American imports so they were fashion as well as hippie-  - and later came Indonesion Batic - the Kabayas and sarongs

Traditional costume came with immigrants from Eastern and Western Europe and if it became fashionable then High street picked it up

– most of these are un-ironed straight out of the bag where they have been for over 20 years

Mens' and womens' ethnic vintage clothes, kabayas, sarongs, kaftans, embroidered Indian tops dresses and skirts, lace, muslin, designer, plus sizes, etc etc
